Cattle for Sale
Since the early 1980s, Cates Farms has hosted an annual production sale each fall, which is now known as the “Star Search” sale. This Shorthorn sale takes place every Saturday on Labor Day Weekend at the farm in Modoc. In 2012, we started our first fall-born Internet sale, called “Modoc Madness” which is held in March.
